A location-based strategy game instigated by the GOETHE-INSTITUT and CAREC. Become a Guardian and save the Magic River! During a visit to their grandparents at the foot of Mount Khan Tengri, Dina and Talgat discover a magic stone with five symbols. Their grandparents then tell them of a story of the Magic River that used to run where the city of Astana stands today: Made up of the Five Powers of Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, and Time, its balance protected by Guardians devoted to each Power, it proved the basis for the peaceful and happy life of all people living on its shore. But one day, the Guardians vanished without warning. The River grew unbalanced and, eventually, dissipated completely. As descendants of these Guardians, Dina and Talgat are now tasked to uncover the secret of the Guardians disappearance and bring the Magic River back to life. But they can t do it without your help! Join the Guardians and follow the tracks of your ancient forebears throughout Astana. Repeatable tasks await all over town where you can earn the magic energy necessary to help the Magic River regain its balance. New tasks will be added to the game over time so you can always come back and do something new. Magpie and Wolf will accompany you on your journey. Adventure awaits!
